Prior to founding Rock Springs in 2013, Kris was a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He was also a portfolio manager and research analyst in the U.S. Equity Division specializing in the coverage of U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Kris was the portfolio manager of the Health Sciences Fund from 2000 until his departure in February 2013, served as president of the Fund, and was chairman of its Investment Advisory Committee. He was also an Investment Advisory Committee member of the Blue Chip Growth Fund, Growth Stock Fund, Mid-Cap Growth Fund, New Horizons Fund, and Global Stock Fund. Prior to T. Rowe Price, he worked at the Laboratory of Biological Cancer, The Brigham & Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He earned a B.S. in chemistry, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois, a D.Phil. from Oxford University, and an M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Kris completed two years of a general surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Prior to founding Rock Springs in 2013, Mark was a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He was a research analyst in the U.S. Equity Division following medical device, biotechnology, and other healthcare companies, and an Investment Advisory Committee member of the Health Sciences Fund, New Horizons Fund, Blue Chip Growth Fund, Growth & Income Fund, and Growth Stock Fund. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mark was co-founder of Rivanna Pharmaceuticals, an early-stage biotechnology firm. He earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia, where he was also a resident in general surgery and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Mark also earned a B.A. in chemistry and biology from Williams College, and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia, where he was designated a William Michael Shermet Scholar.
Scott joined Rock Springs at inception. Previously, he spent 10 years of his career as a research associate in the U.S. Equity Division of T. Rowe Price Associates, following medical device, biotechnology, and other healthcare companies. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Salisbury University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University. Scott has also received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Prior to joining Rock Springs in 2021, Dan worked in business development at Cabaletta Bio, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, through its Series A, B, and IPO. He also performed graduate research at the National Institutes of Health. Dan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania's Roy & Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences & Management, where he earned a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Biology.
Prior to joining Rock Springs Capital in 2024, Matt founded and sold a cloud-based solution for practice management. He also worked at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients in the payor, provider, medical device and pharmaceutical industries, and served as an Independent Director of a publicly traded medical device company. Matt received his bachelor's degree Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard, where he was on the alpine ski team, and earned his M.D. from Yale University.
Veric completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Cognitive Science. Prior to his time at Johns Hopkins, Veric served in the Singapore Armed Forces, reaching the rank of Lieutenant.
Prior to joining Rock Springs in 2024, Temi was an investment analyst at Alyeska Investment Group, where he covered MedTech and services for the healthcare portfolio. Temi earned his B.S. from Oklahoma State University, graduating with a double major in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. He earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School and an M.P.A. from Harvard University Kennedy School. Prior to his graduate studies, he was an aerospace engineer at American Airlines.
Prior to joining Rock Springs in 2025, Allison completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. During her Ph.D., she interned at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, where she evaluated and assisted JHU startups through early commercialization efforts, and co-managed the operations of the Johns Hopkins Thalheimer and Cohen Transitional funds. Allison earned her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins and double majored in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Virginia.
Prior to joining Rock Springs, Aidan served as the Chief Regulatory Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer (U.S.) for SoftBank Investment Advisers, one of the world's largest private fund managers. He was also Associate General Counsel for a large publicly traded financial services company and Senior Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission, working in the Division of Investment Management. Aidan began his legal career in the Investment Management Group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom LLP in New York. He holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and is admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Rock Springs in 2016, Nnamdi was Vice President of Finance at Grand Brands, Inc., a private equity-backed consumer products company in Baltimore. Prior to Grand Brands, he was a Corporate Tax Accountant at T. Rowe Price Group. He earned a B.A. in International Comparative Studies from Duke University and holds the Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant designations.
Prior to joining Rock Springs in 2019, Taylor was an Assistant Controller at Greenspring Associates, a venture capital firm in Owings Mills, Maryland. Prior to Greenspring, she was an audit associate at CohnReznick LLP. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Mount St. Mary's University and holds the Certified Public Accountant designation.
